RETREATS

Retreats for the tender, the tired, the hurting, and the healing.
Not every space that calls themselves a “community” is safe. So we’re not going to use that word here because if a word has lost its meaning then it’s just empty space and that’s not what I’m about.
If you've been hurt by people, churches, families, friends, or systems that promised belonging but deprived you of it, the idea of retreating with others can feel risky - triggering, even. You might be carrying grief, disillusionment, chronic pain, questions you’ve never said out loud—or just the quiet fear that this will be another place where you’ll be hurt and rejected. These retreats are created with you in mind. I’ve been there. I’ve lived it. And I’ve spent years learning and training how to bring people together in ways that are safe, trauma-informed, inclusive, and welcoming to everyone - regardless of who they are or what they believe.
It takes work to unlearn the practices and rhythms taught in systems that value behavior over belonging and I’ve done that work and I am continuing to do that work. If you want to read more about my past and ongoing training, scroll through my about page and my facilitation page or send me an email and we can chat.
All that to say —
If you’re healing from spiritual abuse, untangling from harmful theology, rebuilding trust in yourself, or holding a faith that looks different than it used to — whatever you’re going through and whoever you are, you’ll be met with compassion and curiosity.
There are no altar calls, devotionals, or prayer circles here. Instead, you’ll find slow, relational space to reconnect with your body, your story, and your voice—in the company of others who understand what it’s like to carry both pain and hope.
You are welcome here. Just as you are.
(and you can stay just as you are, too.)

Accessibility + Inclusion
It’s my number one priority that every retreat feels safe, welcoming, and accessible for as many people as possible—especially those who’ve felt excluded or overlooked in traditional faith spaces.
If you're neurodivergent: I do my best to book spaces that offer sensory-friendly spaces. Every retreat has flexible schedules and no forced group activities. You're always welcome to stim, wear headphones, take breaks, play on your phone, or skip sessions without explanation or apology.
If you're disabled: Please reach out with any physical or medical accessibility needs (mobility, food allergies, chronic illness accommodations, etc). I will do everything in my power to create an environment that honors your body and your presence.
If you’re hard of hearing or Deaf: I provide written materials for group sessions and use visual cues during gatherings. Although I know that reading lips can be strenuous, if that’s something that makes participating more accessible to you, I’ll make sure seating arrangements and lighting make it a little easier on you. If ASL is your primary way of communicating, please let me know ahead of time if having an interpreter on the trip would be helpful for you. Please send me an email and let me know what accommodations would make this experience something you’d feel comfortable participating in.
If you've experienced trauma or spiritual harm: These retreats are intentionally non-performative. You will never be pressured to share, participate in prayer, or disclose anything you’re not ready to. We honor your pace, your boundaries, and your no.
If you’re holding doubt, a shifting faith, or no faith at all: You still belong here. We won’t ask you to defend your beliefs or prove your sincerity. And you will not be witnessed to or persuaded. Promise.
Still unsure? Email me. I’m truly so happy to answer any questions or talk through what might make this experience feel more possible for you.
You are not a burden. You’re a gift. And I’d absolutely be honored to spend time with you.
